The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Makers for Makers RVA, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, as well as immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each, are not eligible to participate.

3. PROMOTION PERIOD

Entries will be accepted starting on the date and time of the official announcement and ending at the time specified in the promotional post or advertisement. All entries must be received within the designated timeframe to be eligible.

4. HOW TO ENTER

Participants may enter the Giveaway through the methods specified in the promotional announcement. To enter without purchase or obligation, participants may hand-print their name, mailing address, email address, and phone number on a standard 3x5 inch card and mail it to: Makers for Makers RVA, Attn: Giveaway Entry, [contact business owner for details]. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by the end date of the promotion period to be considered.

5. PRIZE AND ODDS

The prize(s) and their approximate retail value (ARV) will be disclosed in the specific promotional announcement. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at the discretion of Makers for Makers RVA. The prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

6. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

The winner will be selected by a random drawing under the supervision of Makers for Makers RVA. The winner will be notified via the contact information provided at the time of entry within five (5) days following the selection. Makers for Makers RVA shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to security settings or for a winner's provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.

By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Makers for Makers RVA and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the promotion and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the promotion or the processing of entries.

This promotion is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this promotion, the participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this promotion, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Richmond, Virginia, or the nearest applicable jurisdiction.
